A little background on Holmfirth:

The town of Holmfirth lies in the Holme Valley, in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire. Most of its properties are stone-built cottages. Holmfirth will be instantly recognisable to viewers of BBC TV's "Last of the Summer Wine", which was shot in and around Holmfirth. The area has a history of flooding - in 1777, the parish church was washed away and was rebuilt the following year.
